Calculating Your Bra Size

Measuring your underband:

Measure the circumference of your body just under the bust (inches), flat against the rib cage keeping horizontal around the back.

If the underbust measurement is an even number add 4 inches.

If the underbust measurement is an odd number add 5 inches.

This will give you your band measurement, i.e. 32, 34, 36, etc.

Measure the circumference of your body around the fullest part of the bust and around the back. This is your overbust measurement.

The difference between the overbust measurement and your calculated band measurement indicates your cup size.

1” smaller = AA cup
No difference = A cup
1” larger = B cup
2” larger = C cup
3” larger = D cup

Example:  
If your underbust measurement equals 27”, add 5” due to it being an odd number.
Underband size would be a 32.
Overbust measurement equals 34”. Therefore there is a 2” difference between the underband measurement and the overbust measurement indicating that you are a C cup.
Bra size required would be 32C.

Please note that this is a rough wholesale to be used as a staring point to calculate your bra size and therefore it is not 100% accurate. We recommend that you familiarise yourself with a brands sizing as all brands follow different methods of sizing. You can vary in size dramatically depending on what brand you wear.
